Jack Diamond (footballer, born 2000)

Jack Diamond (born January 2, 2000) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Carlisle United, on loan from Sunderland.

Career

Diamond began his career in the youth academy at Sunderland. He progressed through the ranks and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2018. He made his senior debut for Sunderland in a League Cup match against Carlisle United in August 2018.

He has had several loan spells away from Sunderland, including time at Harrogate Town, where he was a key player in their promotion-winning season in the National League. He also spent time on loan at Lincoln City. In January 2024, Diamond joined Carlisle United on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.
