Incite (band)

Incite is a groove metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2004. The band is fronted by Richie Cavalera, stepson of Max Cavalera (Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy) and son of Dana Cavalera. The lineup has shifted throughout its history, but has generally maintained a core of Cavalera on vocals.

Incite’s music is characterized by its aggressive, hard-hitting sound, often drawing comparisons to bands like Pantera and Machine Head. They combine elements of groove metal, thrash metal, and hardcore punk, resulting in a high-energy live performance.

The band has released several studio albums, including The Slaughter (2009), All Out War (2012), Up in Hell (2014), Oppression (2016), Built to Destroy (2019), and Wake Up Dead (2022). Incite has toured extensively, both as a headliner and as support for well-known metal acts. They have built a reputation for their intense and engaging stage presence.
