High Country (film)

High Country is a 1981 Canadian drama film directed by Harvey Hart. The film stars Timothy Bottoms, Susan George, and Linda Sorensen.

The story revolves around a young man, Jim (Bottoms), who is running from the law after accidentally killing a man in self-defense. He flees into the Canadian wilderness and encounters a woman, Friday (George), who is also living off the grid.
