Hexany
A hexany is a group or set of six things. The term is most commonly used in music theory, particularly in describing the structure of certain musical scales or collections of notes. Specifically, a hexany refers to a six-note segment of a larger scale or a set of six pitches considered as a unit. It does not imply any particular interval structure or relationship between the notes within the set; rather, it is a descriptive term indicating the cardinality of the set. The term can also be used more broadly to denote any grouping of six distinct entities in fields outside of music, although such usage is less common.
