Hell on Wheels (album)

Hell on Wheels is the debut studio album by the American heavy metal band Riot. It was released in 1977. The album is considered a landmark in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) despite Riot being an American band, due to its influence on the movement and its raw, energetic sound. While not a commercial success upon its initial release, Hell on Wheels has gained a cult following over the years and is recognized as an important album in the development of heavy metal. The album features original members Guy Speranza on vocals, Mark Reale and Louie Kouvaris on guitars, Jimmy Iommi on bass, and Peter Bitelli on drums.
