Hala Elkoussy

Hala Elkoussy (born 1974, Cairo, Egypt) is a visual artist and filmmaker working and living in Cairo and Amsterdam. Her practice encompasses photography, video, installation, and narrative film. Elkoussy's work often explores themes of memory, identity, and the urban landscape, particularly focusing on marginalized communities and the evolving social fabric of contemporary Egypt.
