HMS Tactician (P314)
HMS Tactician (P314) was a British T-class submarine of the Royal Navy, commissioned in 1942. She was built by Vickers-Armstrongs, Barrow-in-Furness. Tactician served primarily in the Far East during World War II, operating in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Her patrol areas included the waters around Singapore, the Malacca Strait, and the coasts of Sumatra and Java.
During her wartime service, Tactician achieved significant successes, sinking numerous Japanese merchant ships and warships. She was particularly known for her attacks on Japanese convoys, disrupting enemy supply lines.
Following World War II, Tactician remained in service with the Royal Navy for a period before eventually being scrapped.
