HMS Sepoy

HMS Sepoy was a Royal Navy ship, a torpedo boat destroyer of the "Tribal" or "F" class. Built by Hawthorn Leslie and Company, she was launched on 19 December 1905 and completed in 1906.

As part of the Tribal class, Sepoy and her sister ships were characterized by their three funnels and were larger and more powerful than previous destroyer designs, intended for fleet scouting duties. They were named after ethnic groups or tribes within the British Empire.

During her service, Sepoy served in various flotillas within the Home Fleet. She participated in naval exercises and routine patrols.

In 1912, the Tribal class destroyers were officially reclassified as F-class destroyers.

At the outbreak of World War I in 1914, HMS Sepoy was assigned to patrol duties in the English Channel and North Sea. She was involved in anti-submarine patrols and escorting larger warships.

HMS Sepoy was sold for scrap on 28 May 1920.
