HMS Saga

HMS Saga was a British S-class submarine, built by Cammell Laird and launched on 29 May 1944. She served in the Far East during the latter part of World War II.

Following the war, Saga was used as a trials submarine, particularly for testing sonar and other underwater detection equipment. She was known for her extensive modifications to accommodate this equipment.

Saga was eventually sold for scrap in April 1960 and broken up at Troon.
