Gylling (Odder Municipality)
Gylling is a village located in the Odder Municipality, in the East Jutland region of Denmark. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Odder, the municipal seat. Gylling is primarily a residential area surrounded by agricultural land. The village is known for its proximity to the Kattegat sea and the ferry connection to the island of Tunø. Historically, Gylling has been a small agricultural community, and while agriculture remains a presence, the village has seen growth in residential development in recent years. The harbor, Gylling Lystbådehavn, serves as a departure point for ferries to Tunø and is a popular spot for leisure boating. The local church, Gylling Kirke, dates back to the medieval period and features characteristic Danish church architecture.
