Georgi Ivanov (footballer, born 1976)

Georgi Ivanov, born on July 2, 1976, is a former Bulgarian professional footballer who played as a forward. He is often referred to as "Gonzo" (Гонзо).

Ivanov spent the majority of his club career in Bulgaria, primarily playing for Levski Sofia. He also had spells in France, Turkey, and Croatia. He is considered a Levski Sofia legend due to his prolific goalscoring record and contributions to the club's successes.

Ivanov played for the Bulgarian national team, earning a number of caps and scoring several goals. He participated in the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Following his playing career, Ivanov transitioned into football management and administration. He has held various positions at Levski Sofia, including coach and sporting director. He has also been involved in the Bulgarian Football Union.
