George Webbe (cricketer, born 1856)

George Webbe (born 25 May 1856, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Cambridge University and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in the late 1870s. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler, Webbe appeared in 16 first-class matches between 1877 and 1879. He scored 404 runs with a highest score of 71 not out. Details of his career after 1879 are scarce, and his date of death is currently unknown. He won a Blue for cricket while at Cambridge.
