George Nicol (athlete)

George Nicol (born 1886, died 1967) was a British track and field athlete who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics in London.

Nicol participated in the 100 metres and 200 metres events. He was eliminated in the first round of the 100 metres competition. In the 200 metres, he reached the semi-finals, finishing fourth in his heat and failing to advance to the final.

Nicol also competed in the medley relay, as part of the British team. He ran the 200 metres leg. The British team won their heat and then went on to win the gold medal. The other members of the team were William Hamilton, Wyndham Halswelle, and Edward Leader.
