George Hunter (politician, born 1821)

George Hunter (1821-?) was a New Zealand politician. He represented the Wellington Country electorate in the New Zealand House of Representatives from 1871 to 1875. Very little information is readily available regarding his life outside of his parliamentary service. He appears to have been a member of the landed gentry or farming community in the Wellington region. Further research in historical New Zealand records would be required to ascertain a more comprehensive biography.
