Gügəvar

Gügəvar is a village located in the Jabrayil District of Azerbaijan. It came under the control of Armenian forces during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in 1993. Following the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War, it was recaptured by Azerbaijan. The area surrounding Gügəvar has historically been involved in agricultural activities and is situated in a region with complex geopolitical significance. Its current status is under Azerbaijani administration as part of the reorganized Jabrayil District.
