Frank Ross (Australian footballer)

Frank Ross (born 14 February 1949) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Footscray and North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

A rover, Ross was recruited from Footscray Technical School. He debuted for Footscray in 1968 and played 51 senior games for the club over five seasons. He was known for his pace and tenacity.

In 1973, Ross was traded to North Melbourne. He played 14 games for North Melbourne in 1973 and 1974. His career was hampered by injuries.

After his VFL career, Ross continued to play football at the local level. Details of his career post-VFL are limited.
