Fannaråki

Fannaråki is a mountain located in the Luster municipality of Vestland county, Norway. It is situated within the Breheimen National Park and is known for being the location of the highest manned tourist cabin in Norway, at an elevation of 2,068 meters (6,785 feet) above sea level.

The cabin, also named Fannaråki, provides lodging and serves as a popular destination for hikers and tourists during the summer months. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding Jotunheimen mountains and glaciers, including the Jostedalsbreen glacier.

The mountain can be accessed by hiking trails from various starting points, often involving steep ascents. The route can be challenging due to the altitude and weather conditions, even during the summer. Snow cover can persist on Fannaråki for much of the year.

Fannaråki is also of historical significance as the site of a former meteorological station.
