Eric Johnson (defensive tackle)
Eric Johnson (born May 12, 1976) is a former American football defensive tackle who played eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL).
Johnson played college football at Nebraska, where he was a standout defensive lineman. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
During his NFL career, Johnson played for the San Francisco 49ers (2000-2004), the Oakland Raiders (2005-2006), and the Atlanta Falcons (2007-2010). He was known for his run-stopping ability and toughness on the defensive line. He started many games for each team he played on.
After his playing career ended, Johnson has remained largely out of the public eye.
