Doi Pui
Doi Pui is the name of a mountain located in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, part of the Daen Lao Range. It is a popular tourist destination due to its relative proximity to Chiang Mai city, its cooler climate, and attractions such as the Bhubing Palace (the winter residence of the Thai Royal Family), Hmong village, and Doi Pui National Park.
The mountain is significantly higher than the surrounding terrain, offering panoramic views. Its slopes are covered with evergreen forests. The Hmong village provides an opportunity for visitors to experience the culture and traditions of the Hmong people. Handicrafts and local produce are sold in the village.
Doi Pui is often visited in conjunction with Doi Suthep, another prominent mountain peak in the same range which hosts the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple. While geographically connected, the areas offer distinct attractions and experiences. Doi Suthep is more renowned for its temple and religious significance, while Doi Pui is known for its natural beauty, gardens, and cultural experiences.
