Democratic Alliance Party (Albania)
The Democratic Alliance Party (Partia Aleanca Demokratike) is a minor political party in Albania. It was founded in 1992 following the fall of communism in Albania. It has been a relatively small player in Albanian politics, rarely securing significant representation in the Albanian Parliament.
The party's ideology has generally been aligned with center-right principles, advocating for economic liberalization, European integration, and the rule of law. It has often sought to differentiate itself from the larger political forces in Albania by emphasizing good governance and anti-corruption measures.
The Democratic Alliance Party has participated in multiple parliamentary elections and has, at times, formed coalitions with other political parties in attempts to increase its influence. However, its electoral performance has typically been limited. Information regarding its current leadership and specific policy positions should be verified with up-to-date sources due to the fluid nature of Albanian politics.
