Delcourt (publisher)

Delcourt is a major French comics publisher founded in 1986 by Guy Delcourt. Initially focused on publishing translated American comics, particularly those from DC Comics, the company quickly expanded its catalogue to include original French-language creations, also known as bandes dessinées or Franco-Belgian comics.

Delcourt has grown to become one of the largest and most diverse publishers in the French comics industry. Its catalogue encompasses a wide range of genres, including science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, adventure, humour, and children's comics. They are known for publishing both established authors and discovering new talents.

Some of Delcourt's notable series and authors include Lanfeust of Troy by Arleston and Tarquin, Sillage by Morvan and Buchet, Aquablue by Thirault, and Le Transperceneige (Snowpiercer), which was adapted into a film and television series.
