Dean Wells (English footballer)
Dean Wells (born January 26, 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender.
Wells began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, though he didn't make a first-team appearance for the club. He spent time on loan at Bishop's Stortford, Brentford, and Salisbury City.
After leaving Tottenham, Wells joined Stevenage Borough in 2008. He was a key member of the Stevenage team that won the Conference Premier title in 2010 and promotion to League Two. He also helped Stevenage win the League Two title in 2011, securing promotion to League One.
Following his time at Stevenage, Wells played for Ebbsfleet United and Newport County. He re-joined Stevenage in 2016.
Wells is known for his commanding presence in defence and his ability to win aerial duels.
