David Reed (soccer)

David Reed is a retired English professional footballer. He primarily played as a midfielder.

Reed's professional career began at Southampton in the early 1990s. He spent several seasons there, making a number of appearances in the Premier League.

Following his time at Southampton, Reed moved to Blackburn Rovers in 1995. He was part of the Blackburn squad during their Premier League title-winning season, although his playing time was limited.

After leaving Blackburn, Reed had spells at several other clubs, including Wimbledon, Charlton Athletic, Nottingham Forest, and Ipswich Town. He continued to play professionally until his retirement.

Since retiring from playing, Reed has occasionally worked in coaching roles.
