David Fitzpatrick (footballer, born 1995)

David Fitzpatrick (born 25 January 1995) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Shelbourne in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

Career

Fitzpatrick began his senior career with Derry City, progressing through their youth ranks. He made his League of Ireland Premier Division debut for Derry in 2014.

He then joined Institute FC in the NIFL Championship.

In 2016, Fitzpatrick moved to Limerick, where he spent several seasons, becoming a regular in their defence. He helped the club win the First Division title in 2016.

Fitzpatrick signed for St Patrick's Athletic in 2020.

He joined Shelbourne ahead of the 2023 season.
