Daniel Pérez (footballer, born 2002)

Daniel Pérez (born January 17, 2002) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for MLS Next Pro club Philadelphia Union II, on loan from Belgian First Division A club Club Brugge.

Career

Pérez began his youth career with Academia Emeritense in Venezuela before joining Metropolitanos FC. He made his professional debut for Metropolitanos FC in the Venezuelan Primera División. In 2022, Pérez signed with Club Brugge in Belgium. He was initially assigned to their reserve team, Club NXT, playing in the Challenger Pro League. In 2024, he was loaned to Philadelphia Union II of the MLS Next Pro.

International Career

Pérez has represented Venezuela at various youth international levels.
