Damian Jackson (baseball)
Damian Jackson is a former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1997 to 2008 for the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Toronto Blue Jays, San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Known primarily for his defensive versatility and speed, Jackson played all infield positions during his career, and also spent time in the outfield. He was often used as a utility player. He was known for his enthusiastic and energetic style of play. While not a power hitter, he was considered a competent base stealer early in his career.
Jackson's professional career spanned 12 seasons. Following his playing career, he has been involved in coaching and player development.
