Cliff Pennington (baseball)
Cliff Pennington (born June 18, 1984) is a former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cincinnati Reds.
Primarily a shortstop and second baseman, Pennington was known for his defensive versatility, capable of playing multiple infield positions effectively. He was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the first round (21st overall) of the 2005 MLB draft.
