Claude Bertrand (actor)
Claude Bertrand (born March 24, 1937, Paris, France; died March 5, 2020, Gonesse, France) was a French actor, voice actor, and dubbing director. He was known for his prolific work in dubbing, providing the French voice for numerous famous actors, including Roger Moore (as James Bond in most of his films), John Belushi, Telly Savalas (as Kojak), and Donald Sutherland.
Bertrand began his career in theatre before transitioning into film and television roles. While he appeared in various French productions, his primary contribution was through voice acting. He was highly regarded in France for his versatility and ability to capture the nuances of the original performances he dubbed. He also directed the French dubbing of many films and television series.
