Chris Ellis (American football)

Chris Ellis (born November 16, 1987) is a former American football defensive end. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at Indiana University.

College Career

Ellis played college football for the Indiana Hoosiers from 2007 to 2010. He was a four-year starter and earned All-Big Ten honors.

Professional Career

Ellis was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played for the Bills for two seasons, appearing in 14 games. He was waived by the Bills in 2013. He subsequently signed with the Tennessee Titans but was released before the season.
