Cheick Keita (footballer, born 1996)

Cheick Keita (born 16 April 1996) is a Malian professional footballer who primarily plays as a left-back.

Keita began his professional career in Italy, playing for Virtus Entella's youth system before joining Serie B side Trapani in 2015. He made his senior debut for Trapani and established himself as a promising young defender.

In January 2017, Keita joined Serie A side Birmingham City on loan, with an option to make the move permanent. He made several appearances for the club during his loan spell.

Following his time at Birmingham City, Keita returned to Italy. He has since played for various clubs in the Italian leagues, including Virtus Verona and Imolese.

Keita has also represented Mali at the international level.
