Cheeseburger (wrestler)
Cheeseburger (born Ryan Strunk on February 15, 1984) is an American professional wrestler best known for his time in Ring of Honor (ROH). He is also known under the name "World Famous" CB.
He began his professional wrestling training at the ROH Wrestling Academy and debuted in 2010. Initially, he was used as a jobber, losing matches to more established wrestlers. This role led to the "Cheeseburger" moniker, which originated as an inside joke backstage due to his slight stature and the perceived need for him to "beef up."
Cheeseburger embraced the gimmick and became a popular underdog character, known for his comedic antics and high-energy performances. He gained a loyal following due to his resilience and never-say-die attitude, despite frequently being on the losing end.
During his time in ROH, he aligned himself with various stables, including The Boys, and formed tag teams with wrestlers like Will Ferrara. He competed in notable tournaments like the ROH Top Prospect Tournament.
After ROH's hiatus and subsequent relaunch under new ownership, Cheeseburger has continued to wrestle on the independent circuit, maintaining his positive attitude and connection with fans. He is recognized for his contributions to ROH's mid-2010s era and his ability to connect with audiences despite his role as an enhancement talent.
