Charles Alexander (running back)
Charles Alexander (born February 21, 1957) is a former professional American football player. He was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants from 1979 to 1981.
Alexander played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he was a standout player. He was drafted by the Giants in the 4th round of the 1979 NFL Draft. He was known for his speed and agility. His career was ultimately shortened by injuries.
After his playing career, Alexander pursued various business ventures.
