Central District (Neyriz County)

The Central District (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان نی‌ریز) is a district (bakhsh) in Neyriz County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 38,167, in 9,822 families. The District has one city: Neyriz. The Central District also includes rural districts (dehestans): Rizab Rural District and Horgan Rural District. The Central District is typically the most populous and economically significant district within a county in Iran.
