Borja García (footballer, born November 1990)
Borja García (full name Borja García Freire; born 2 November 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder.
García began his career in the youth ranks of Real Madrid, progressing through their various youth teams. He did not break into the first team.
He spent time on loan at Córdoba CF and Real Murcia before moving to Real Oviedo in 2012. After a successful season in Segunda División B, he joined CD Mirandés.
In 2014, García signed for Girona FC. He became an important part of the team, contributing significantly to their promotion to La Liga for the first time in their history in 2017. He played for Girona in La Liga for two seasons.
Following Girona's relegation, García signed for SD Eibar in 2019. He returned to Girona in 2021, where he continues to play.
García is known for his technical ability, passing range, and work rate in midfield.
