Bogerud

Bogerud is a neighborhood located in the Søndre Nordstrand borough of Oslo, Norway. It is primarily a residential area, characterized by a mix of housing types including apartment buildings, row houses, and detached homes.

Historically, the area was largely agricultural land before undergoing significant development in the latter half of the 20th century. The construction of the Oslo Metro's Østensjø Line, with Bogerud station serving the area, played a crucial role in its growth as a residential suburb.
