Bill Speakman (footballer)
William "Bill" Speakman (born 1938) is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger. He is best known for his time at Rochdale, where he was a key member of the team that reached the 1962 Football League Cup Final.
Speakman started his career at Burnley, though he did not make a first-team appearance for the club. He then moved to Rochdale in 1960. He quickly established himself in the Rochdale side, known for his pace and ability to cross the ball.
