Bill Baird (racing driver)
Bill Baird was an American racing driver active primarily in the 1950s and 1960s. He is best known for his participation in USAC Stock Car and IndyCar (then known as the USAC National Championship) racing.
Baird competed in multiple Indianapolis 500 races. While his Indy 500 results were not top-tier, he was a consistent participant and contributed to the era of open-wheel racing.
He also participated in other USAC Stock Car events. Details about specific wins or championships are less readily available in general databases, however, he was a recognised competitor.
