Ben Paton (Australian footballer)

Ben Paton (born 22 August 1998) is an Australian rules footballer who currently plays for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the St Kilda Football Club from 2019 to 2023.

Paton was drafted by St Kilda with pick 46 in the 2017 AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in Round 4 of the 2019 season against the GWS Giants. A consistent and reliable defender known for his intercept marking and strong tackling, he became a regular in the St Kilda backline.

In October 2023, Paton was traded to the Sydney Swans.
