Ary Graça
Ary Graça is a Brazilian volleyball administrator who served as the President of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the international governing body for volleyball, from 2008 to 2024.
Prior to becoming FIVB President, Graça held various positions in volleyball administration, including serving as the President of the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV). His tenure at the FIVB was marked by efforts to modernize the sport, increase its global reach, and enhance its commercial appeal. Key initiatives during his presidency included the introduction of video refereeing technology, changes to scoring systems, and a focus on developing volleyball in emerging nations. He also oversaw the organization of numerous World Championships and Olympic Games tournaments. Graça was succeeded as FIVB President by Dr. Saleh A. Bin Nasser in January 2024.
