Ōya Station (Nagano)
Ōya Station is a railway station on the Iiyama Line in Sakae, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
Location and Overview
The station is located in a rural area of Sakae, Nagano. It is an unstaffed station, meaning there are no JR staff permanently stationed at the facility to sell tickets or provide assistance.

Ōya Station is served by the Iiyama Line, and is located 50.0 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Toyono Station.

History
Ōya Station opened on July 6, 1923, as a station on the Iiyama Railway. It was nationalized on August 1, 1944, becoming part of the Japanese National Railways (JNR). With the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.

The area surrounding Ōya Station is primarily agricultural, with rice paddies and fields. There are few businesses or residences in the immediate vicinity. The station serves primarily local residents.
