Arash (Tanzanian ward)

Arash is an administrative ward in the Monduli District of the Arusha Region of Tanzania. The ward is located near the Monduli Mountains. According to the 2012 census, the ward has a population of 7,588.

Arash ward is primarily inhabited by Maasai people. The economy is largely based on pastoralism, with livestock rearing being a primary source of income. Some agriculture is also practiced, but is often limited by water availability and climate conditions.
