Anteros (band)

Anteros were a British indie pop band formed in London in 2014. The band's sound was characterized by its blend of indie rock energy with synth-pop sensibilities, often described as having a vibrant and energetic live performance.

The group consisted of Laura Hayden (vocals), Joshua Rumble (bass), Jackson Couzens (guitar), and Harry Balazs (drums).

Anteros released a series of EPs, including "Anteros" (2015), "Breakfast" (2016), and "Drunk" (2016), building a following through online platforms and live performances. These EPs garnered positive reviews and helped establish their presence in the UK indie music scene.

In 2019, Anteros released their debut album, "When We Land," through Distiller Records. The album explored themes of love, loss, and growing up.

The band announced their breakup in 2019, shortly after the release of "When We Land." They cited creative differences and the desire to pursue other projects as the reasons for their disbandment. They performed a final farewell tour in late 2019. Although relatively short-lived, Anteros left a mark on the indie pop scene with their catchy tunes and energetic performances.
