António Pedro

António Pedro (1909-1966) was a Portuguese surrealist painter, poet, and playwright. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he played a significant role in introducing and promoting surrealism within the Portuguese artistic and intellectual scene.

Pedro spent a considerable part of his life outside of Portugal, particularly in Brazil and England.
