Ancestral home (Chinese)

An ancestral home (Chinese: 祖屋; pinyin: zǔ wū; Jyutping: zou2 uk1) refers to the house or residence that has been in a family for multiple generations, often serving as the physical and symbolic center of the family lineage. It represents the family's roots, history, and connection to its ancestors.

The ancestral home is more than just a building; it embodies a family's heritage, traditions, and values.
