Allan Edwards (Australian cricketer)
Allan Edwards (born 25 February 1953) is a former Australian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Western Australia.
A right-handed batsman, Edwards debuted for Western Australia in the 1973/74 season and played primarily in the Sheffield Shield competition. He was known for his solid defensive technique and ability to occupy the crease. Although he did not score prolifically, he was a consistent performer for his state team.
Edwards played in 74 first-class matches, scoring 2,580 runs at an average of 23.90. He scored one century, a score of 111 against Queensland in 1978. His highest List A score was 78, made against Victoria. He retired from first-class cricket in 1983.
