All for Love (band)
All for Love was a short-lived American pop punk band formed in 2003 by members of the bands Saves the Day, Wax, and Open Hand. The lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist Matt Pryor (also of The Get Up Kids), guitarist Chad Gilbert (also of New Found Glory), bassist Geoff Rickly (also of Thursday), and drummer Pete Parada (also of Saves the Day and later The Offspring).
The band's formation was largely a side project for its members, all of whom were actively involved in other established and successful bands. This allowed for creative exploration outside of their primary musical identities.
All for Love released one studio album, Nine Years and Running, in 2003 on Drive-Thru Records. The album received generally positive reviews, praising its blend of pop punk sensibilities with elements of each member's respective main bands. Despite the positive reception, the band did not extensively tour or record additional material due to the members' commitments to their primary musical projects.
The band is considered a notable example of a "supergroup" within the pop punk scene, though its short lifespan and limited output distinguish it from more established groups bearing that label.
