Alisson (footballer, born 1993)

Alisson Ramses Becker (born 2 October 1992), commonly known as Alisson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Alisson began his career at Internacional, where he made over 100 appearances before joining Roma in 2016. In July 2018, Liverpool signed him for a then-world record fee for a goalkeeper. Alisson has won numerous individual awards, including the Premier League Golden Glove twice and the FIFA Best Goalkeeper Award.

Club Career:

• Internacional: Alisson progressed through the youth ranks at Internacional, making his professional debut in 2013. He quickly established himself as the club's first-choice goalkeeper.

• Roma: In 2016, Alisson joined Serie A club Roma. After initially serving as a backup, he became the starting goalkeeper for the 2017–18 season. His performances attracted significant attention from top European clubs.

• Liverpool: In July 2018, Liverpool completed the signing of Alisson for a reported fee of £66.8 million, which was a world record for a goalkeeper at the time. He has been a key player for Liverpool, contributing significantly to their success in the Premier League and Champions League.

International Career:

Alisson has represented Brazil at various youth levels. He made his senior international debut in 2015. He has since been a regular member of the Brazil squad, playing in major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup and the Copa América, winning the latter in 2019.

Style of Play:

Alisson is known for his excellent shot-stopping ability, command of his area, distribution skills, and composure under pressure.
