Alex Neve

Alex Neve is a Canadian human rights advocate and lawyer. He served as the Secretary-General of Amnesty International Canada from 2000 to 2020. During his tenure, he was a prominent voice on a wide range of human rights issues both in Canada and internationally. He is known for his advocacy related to Indigenous rights, refugee protection, national security, and corporate accountability. Since leaving Amnesty International, he has continued to be involved in human rights work, often commenting in the media and participating in panels and discussions related to human rights challenges. He has also been a vocal critic of government policies he believes infringe upon human rights.
