A476 road
The A476 is a minor A road in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It runs from Llandeilo to Llanelli.
The road is approximately 15 miles (24 km) long and provides a more direct route between these two towns than the A482 and A40. It passes through a number of villages, including Carmel and Capel Hendre.
Historically, the A476 was likely a locally important route for agricultural traffic and connecting smaller communities. Modern use is primarily for local traffic and as an alternative route for those avoiding the larger A roads. The road is primarily single carriageway.
