35th Infantry Regiment (United States)
The 35th Infantry Regiment is a United States Army infantry regiment with a distinguished history dating back to its formation in 1916. It has participated in numerous conflicts, including both World Wars, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Organization and Activation:
The regiment was originally constituted in the Regular Army on July 1, 1916, and activated on July 8, 1916, at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

The 35th Infantry Regiment served with the Hawaiian Division during World War I, primarily performing garrison duty and coastal defense in Hawaii. It did not deploy to Europe.
